What do I need to get started?
Access to your QuickBooks Online account, your bank and credit card statements, and a quick call so I can learn how your business works. If you aren't using QuickBooks Online yet, I can help you get set up.
Do you work with my CPA or tax preparer?
Yes. I work alongside your tax accountant throughout the year and hand off a complete, tax-ready file when it's time to file.
My books are months (or years) behind. Can you help?
Yes. I'll review where things stand, then give you a clear quote to catch up and clean up your books before any work begins. Once you're current, we can move to monthly bookkeeping.
How much does bookkeeping cost?
Monthly packages start at $250 per month. Your price depends on things like how many accounts you have and how many transactions you run each month, and you'll get a quote before we start.
Do I need to be local to work with you?
No. Everything is done online, so I can work with your business wherever you are. I work with small businesses across Southeast Kansas, Southwest Missouri, Northwest Arkansas, Northeast Oklahoma, and beyond.
Do you prepare or file tax returns?
Not right now. I keep your books accurate and organized so your tax accountant can prepare and file your return quickly.
Is there anything you don't handle?
Right now I don't run payroll, register for or file sales tax, or file 1099s and collect W-9s. I do track contractor payments so your accountant has what they need.
